So what the heck is "blogging" and what does it have to do with social networking? Or business for that matter?
Well, it seems that the phenomena of blogging - a “web log” -

And it looks like blogging's momentum is only building.
With the integration of technology in almost every area of our life, electronic communication is increasing. Blogging is a way of enhancing that communication.
It is less formal than a web site. Blogging is rather like an informal online newsletter, or journal if it's more of a personal format. With free programs, such as this platform, Blogger, you can be blogging in minutes!
From the articles given for this assignment, I think Chris Brogan's site: How to Blog Almost Every Day was my favorite. With a list of 14 points, he takes the mystery and fear out of starting your own blog.
A few take away points from this week:
1. Think about why you're writing. Write for your audience.
2. Do it CONSISTANTLY. If not daily than at the VERY least weekly.
3. Add links and pictures.
I AM going to have fun with this! As with any communication, it has the capability of not only connecting but also inspiring, teaching and stretching our minds - and our worlds!
What are some of YOUR ideas about blogging?
